International Software Sales Executive

About the Role:
We are seeking a driven and professional International Software Sales Executive to join a consulting firm that delivers ERP and technology solutions both locally and abroad. The ideal candidate will be skilled at opening doors, building strong client relationships, and generating quality leads across multiple markets. This role is ideal for a confident business development professional who thrives on engaging with enterprise-level clients and introducing them to high-value software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in South Africa and international markets.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, focusing on medium to large enterprise clients.
  • Engage with C-suite and senior decision-makers to position ERP and consulting solutions effectively.
  • Generate and nurture warm leads through networking, research, and relationship-building.
  • Conduct client presentations and product demonstrations (with support from technical consultants where needed).
  • Work closely with the internal team to develop proposals and close deals.
  • Track and report on sales performance, pipeline activity, and market trends.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Proven experience in software, IT solutions, or systems sales (ERP experience advantageous).
  • Strong understanding of enterprise business environments and complex sales cycles.
  • A tertiary qualification in Business, IT, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Experience selling to both local and international markets is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively identify new opportunities.
