Our Quality Engineers are responsible for ensuring that all software products are released with high quality. A software quality engineer is someone who monitors every phase of the software development process so as to ensure design quality, making sure that the software adheres to the standards set by the development department.

Minimum Requirements

A tertiary qualification in an IT-related field is needed. 0 - 1 years experience in a related role, e.g. software testing, is desired but not needed. Strong technical skills - comfortable testing software without a user interface, e.g. an API. Experience with or knowledge of writing and debugging code. Strong knowledge of the Test Management Lifecycle (TMLC) as a subset of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

Duties & Responsibilities

Maintenance and support of existing systems Participate in the release process Build knowledge of new QA tools and relevant technology continuously Participate actively in the Scrum process Knowledge Transfer and Collaboration Test requirements analysis Recording of test plans, which includes the creation of test scenarios and test cases to meet the exception criteria using Azure/DevOps/TFS Test execution using Azure/DevOps/TFS * Defect logging using Azure/DevOps/TFS
