Job Description
Job Summary
Our client in the Banking industry is looking for a Software Quality Engineer to develop and implement testing processes, methodologies, and tools to identify and address any issues or defects in software applications.
Responsibilities include:
- Using the automation framework and pre-defined test tools to inspect, analyse, design, develop and implement re-useable automated test assets to quality assure the solution and its architecture to ensure the overall quality of the solution.
- Creating detailed test cases based on software specifications, requirements, and user stories.
- Developing comprehensive test plans that outline the testing strategy, objectives, scope, and resources required.
- Ensuring that software products meet the highest standard of quality and functionality.
- Collaborating closely with software developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to establish clear testing objectives.
- Detecting and rectifying bugs, glitches, or inconsistencies in the software, contributing to the delivery of a reliable and user-friendly product.
- Good working knowledge of Front End and API automation as well as Performance Testing (NFT)
- Demonstrated history of using tools such as Selenium/Appium/Healenium, Rest Assured and JMeter
- Agile Concepts & Development
- Automation standards & procedure
- Java Development with J2EE &/ Springboot knowledge
- Object Orientation
- Testing Principles & processes
Bachelor of Commerce: IT Management / Bachelor of Science
Software Testing certification
