Software Firmware Engineer
Job Description
Our client within the defense & aerospace industry is currently looking for an experienced Software Firmware Engineer to join the team.
Requirements:
Experience/Interest in Aerospace, Aerodynamics, Propulsion, Embedded Systems, Avionics, Aircraft or Aviation
Embedded Skillsets (e.g. Python, Git, C/C++ programming)
Version control and release management (Git)
Write and document software test procedures, test plans and results
Support avionics integration and subsystem testing
Develop software architecture from system-level requirements
Maintain & write low-level embedded drivers
Support desktop application development for ground systems
