Software Firmware Engineer
Job Description
My client is looking for a Software Firmware Engineer to join their dynamic team.
Requirements:
Experience/Interest in Aerospace, Aerodynamics, Propulsion, Embedded Systems, Avionics, Aircraft or Aviation
Embedded Skillsets (e.g. Python, Git, C/C++ programming)
Develop and maintain embedded firmware for aerospace/propulsion systems
Create and maintain software development environments and frameworks
Version control and release management (Git)
Ensure DO-178 lifecycle compliance
Write and document software test procedures, test plans and results
Support avionics integration and subsystem testing
Develop software architecture from system-level requirements
Maintain & write low-level embedded drivers
Support desktop application development for ground systems
