An established Financial Services company is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test to build and maintain automated testing systems that improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and strengthen software reliability.
Description
- Develop automated test scripts across functional, regression, performance, and security areas.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
- Automate cloud infrastructure using IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
- Implement automated monitoring and alerting systems.
- Write automation scripts in TypeScript, JavaScript, C#, Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams.
- Document automation workflows and best practices.
- Matric / Grade 12
- Min 4 yrs experience within a similar role
- Strong programming/scripting skills - C#, TypeScript, SQL
- Familiarity with automation tools and frameworks. (Playwright)
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Automation on these platforms.
