About our client:
Our client, a specialised IT firm, partners with organisations to tackle substantial enterprise-level business, system, or project challenges. Their approach combines a proactive "start-now" philosophy with agile development and just-in-time design principles to guarantee the swift and cost-effective delivery of custom IT solutions that surpass client expectations by emphasising value.
What you will be doing:

• Creating ASP.NET web applications - design, build, and maintain.
• Work together with different teams to figure out what's needed and turn those ideas into tech solutions.
• Write code that's clear, easy to scale, and simple to maintain.
• Use the best ways to develop software, including unit testing and code reviews.
• Find and fix any tech problems that come up.
• Keep learning about new technologies and what's happening in the industry.

What our client is looking for:

• It'd be great if you had a relevant tertiary qualification
• Around 7 years experience developing web apps using ASP.NET, including C#, .NET Framework, and similar tech.
• A strong problem-solver and analytical thinker.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Bonus points for:

• Knowing your way around jQuery and front-end frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.js.
• Experience with relational databases like SQL Server, Oracle, and PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with ORM tools, especially Entity Framework.
• Knowing about Continuous Integration and using tools like Jenkins, TeamCity, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with code repository management and version control systems like Git or SVN.

Work Type:

• The company offers a mix of office and remote work - you'd only need to be in the office 3 days a week, and the rest can be done remotely. You are welcome to come in daily if you prefer
