Job Description

An established company is seeking a highly skilled Software Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications in Kloof, Durban. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a proactive approach, and a passion for continuous learning and innovation.
Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain web and mobile applications
• Develop and enhance IoT and embedded systems for smart solutions
• Develop and maintain software applications and APIs
• Use DevOps methodology for version control, CI/CD, and deployment
• Maintain IT infrastructure and ensure system stability
• Document code algorithms and development processes
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Requirements:

• Relevant IT-related degree or equivalent
• 3-5 years of relevant software development experience
• Proficiency in back-end development (C#, Python) and front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript)
• Experience with API development and integration (REST, GraphQL)
• Familiarity with automated testing, CI/CD, and DevOps practices
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (Azure) and database management (SQL, NoSQL, data modeling)
• Experience in embedded systems and IoT development is a plus
• Proficiency with version control and collaboration tools (e.g., Git)
