Job Summary Software Developer Intern
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement software applications using C++, C#, and python.
- Integrate APIs into software applications, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.
- Optimize software applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Collaborate with the backend and front-end team to design and implement RESTful
- APIs for data exchange.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of software applications to ensure
- high-quality performance.
- Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly.
- Analyzing information to recommend and plan the installation of new systems or
- modifications of an existing system.
- Preparing reports on programming project specifications, activities, or status.
- System testing and validation procedures.
- South African unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34.
- Must not have participated on the YES programme before.
- Matric Certificate (with results).
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology
- A qualification in Software Development
- Experience working with databases and querying data using SQL or NoSQL.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and experience in integrating them into software
- applications.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Develop software applications using languages like C++ or python.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
