Introduction
Umbani Software (Pty) Ltd is a software development company based in Benoni, Johannesburg. Umbani was formed in 1992 with a specific focus on writing bespoke software for our clients, utilising a variety of technologies. It has evolved into a dynamic software development company, providing both generic and bespoke software solutions to a range of industries.
We are seeking a skilled and versatile intermediate/senior software developer with experience to become a valuable addition to our team.
Qualifications and experience required:
Matric plus relevant IT degree / IT diploma. Must be an independent worker and self-starter with the ability to work cohesively in a team. Strong analytical skills with ability to perform well under pressure. Must be able to communicate directly with clients Must be able to assess and develop requirements Must be able to scope and build specification documents based on requirements Must be able to maintain existing software and develop new features Strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
Core Skills required:
ASP.Net C# Microsoft .Net Microsoft SQL HTML/CSS JavaScript Visual Studio Blazor
Additional eligibility skills:
MAUI Microsoft Azure PHP Delphi
