Job Description
An opportunity is available for a Software Control Engineer to join a high-performance engineering team focused on flight control software development. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in control systems and experience with simulation tools. This role involves contributing to the development of flight control algorithms and participating in peer-reviewed engineering processes.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop control software for flight applications
- Use MATLAB/Simulink for modelling, simulation, and code generation (non-negotiable)
- Participate in peer reviews to ensure quality and compliance
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in the development and integration of control systems
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of software engineering practices
- Advantageous: experience in UAV flight control software development
- Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in control software development
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink (non-negotiable)
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment
- Advantageous: prior experience in UAV control system development
