An exciting opportunity exists for a suitably qualified, dynamic and innovative teacher to join our team as a Social Sciences Teacher, covering Grades 7 to 12.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree and appropriate professional qualification SACE registration (applicants must include a certified copy of their SACE registration) Fully computer literate

Preferred Attributes:

It would be advantageous if candidates have:

Experience teaching at both GET and FET levels Grade Head experience or similar leadership background The ability and willingness to add value to the extra-curricular aspects of the College (sport, cultural activities, clubs, etc.) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong classroom management skills Enthusiasm and versatility as an all-rounder teacher

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and deliver engaging lessons in Social Sciences (History and/or Geography) Implement lessons in line with CAPS curriculum requirements Maintain an inclusive, disciplined and supportive classroom environment Participate in school events and professional development initiatives Manage all relevant administrative tasks (assessments, reports, learner progress tracking) Contribute actively to the College's extra-curricular programme If appointed as Grade Head, oversee pastoral care, discipline, and administrative duties for the grade
