Social Media Specialist
to join their in-house team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about digital communication, community engagement, and growing a brand's presence across social media platforms.
About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for managing and expanding the company's social media presence across key platforms. From developing engaging content strategies to executing campaigns and fostering online communities, you'll play a vital role in shaping the brand's voice and impact online. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital trends, excellent communication skills, and the ability to authentically represent the brand across various channels.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute social media strategies that align with brand objectives.
Manage daily posting, scheduling, and content planning for platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.
Write compelling, on-brand captions and social copy for various audiences.
Monitor social media channels for engagement, trends, and customer feedback.
Respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely, professional tone.
Plan and execute social media campaigns, contests, and product launches.
Track and analyse social media performance using tools like Meta Business Suite and LinkedIn Analytics.
Identify and implement growth strategies based on performance data.
Stay up to date with platform changes, algorithm updates, and digital trends.
Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to align messaging and visuals.
Assist in managing social media ad campaigns and boosting content.
Requirements
Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience managing brand social media accounts.
Strong understanding of platform algorithms, social trends, and content performance.
Experience using social media scheduling and analytics tools.
Ability to manage multiple accounts and campaigns simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Experience with paid social media campaigns.
