Job Description

The Social Media Producer is responsible for producing native social media content, tailored to each platform. Furthermore, the incumbent will execute social media campaigns to promote eNCA digital content as well as the channel at large.
Produce Native Social Media Content
Produce and publish native social media content, using industry best practices, in line with the digital content calendar as directed by the Digital News Editor.
Provide input to the diary in terms of content type and style.
Provide input to the diary in terms of trending stories and trends.
Collaborate with the internal stakeholders to produce a media-mix content portfolio in line with the digital strategy.
Provide ideas and produce social media content as standalone native social media content.
Promote eNCA on Social Media
Produce and publish promotional content on social media in line with the digital diary and calendar.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to continuously seek opportunities to leverage and enchase content on social media.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and produce marketing campaigns for the channel.
Audience Engagement
Monitor social media for user comments and messages.
Respond to users according to community management style guides and policies.
Provide feedback to internal stakeholders on community sentiment.
Monitor community trends to identify opportunities.
Analytics, Insightsand Intelligence
Report on social media campaigns using analytics, insights, and intelligence to the digital team.
Use social media analytics to identify opportunities to enhance and exploit content.
Qualifications
??National Senior Certificate? is Essential
National Diploma in Digital is Essential
?Bachelors Degree in Journalism is Recommended
Experience
3 years in Journalism, Media, or Digital Newsroom and/or related field is Essential
Drivers Licence is Recommended
Language Proficiency
English - Advanced
Technology Proficiency
Advance knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Photoshop Illustrator, some form of audio, video and photo editing software, Google Analytics, Crown Tangle, audio editing and production, video production and editing, social media monitor and publishing tools, social media business tools.
