Role Summary
We are seeking a creative and data-driven Social Media Manager to take ownership of our organic social media presence. This role is crucial for building community, driving brand awareness, and enhancing audience engagement across all platforms. The successful candidate will work closely with the Marketing team, complementing the efforts of the existing Paid Social Manager to ensure a cohesive and high-impact social media strategy.
? Key Responsibilities The Social Media Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end management of all organic social channels, focusing on growth and community building:

  • Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive organic social media strategies designed to significantly enhance brand awareness, reach, and follower engagement.
  • Content Management:
- Manage the content calendar, scheduling, and publishing of high-quality, engaging content created by the Marketing Designer.
- Ensure all organic content aligns with brand guidelines, campaign messaging and overall marketing goals. * Performance Analysis: Utilize social media analytics tools to track, measure, and analyze performance against established KPIs. Generate regular reports with actionable insights to continuously optimize strategy.
  • Content Sourcing for Paid: Proactively monitor organic performance to identify high-performing content (e.g., top-engaging posts, viral trends) that shows potential for effective use in paid advertising campaigns.
  • Community Engagement: Actively engage with followers, respond to comments and inquiries promptly and professionally, and foster a thriving online community.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the broader Marketing team, especially the Paid Social Manager, to ensure seamless integration between organic and paid campaigns and consistent brand messaging.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay constantly updated on the latest social media platform changes, algorithm updates, industry trends, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
? Must-Have Qualifications
  • Proven, hands-on experience (3+ years) in a dedicated social media management role, with a strong portfolio of managing organic social media channels for a brand.
  • Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills, with a native understanding of tone, voice, and grammar necessary for compelling social content.
  • Strong understanding of the nuances, best practices, and audience demographics of major social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, X/Twitter, YouTube).
  • A creative, innovative mindset with demonstrated ability to identify engaging content trends and generate fresh ideas that resonate with the target audience.
  • Experience with social media analytics and reporting, with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies for performance optimization.
? Nice-to-Haves (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Industry Experience: Previous experience managing social media for a brand within the wedding, events, or luxury lifestyle industry.
  • Design Familiarity: Familiarity with basic graphic design or video editing concepts, and experience using tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro) or similar to provide minor edits or feedback on assets.
  • SEO/Content Marketing Knowledge: Basic understanding of SEO principles and how social media can support broader content marketing initiatives.

  • Social Media Platforms: Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, X (Twitter), YouTube, LinkedIn
  • Analytics & Reporting: Native platform analytics (e.g., Instagram Insights, TikTok Analytics),
  • Communication & Collaboration: Slack, Asana/Trello, Google Workspace/Microsoft Office Suite
  • Asset Management: Dropbox, Google Drive, or similar DAM system (for accessing designer-created assets)
? Success Metrics (KPIs) Performance will be measured by, but not limited to, the following key metrics:
  • Engagement Rate: Achieve and maintain an increase in follower engagement rates (e.g., likes, shares, comments, saves) by X% quarter-over-quarter.
  • Follower Growth: Achieve consistent organic social media follower growth by X% monthly.
  • Brand Awareness: Successful achievement of specified brand awareness goals, including growth in impressions and reach within defined target markets.
  • Click-Through Rate (CTR): Optimize organic content for maximum website traffic and lead generation (where applicable).
