Your mission? To make our brand the most talked-about, engaged-with, and beloved name in the global overland community. You won't just post content; you'll build a digital nation and turn followers into fanatics.
Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It:
You will be the human voice of our brand, the architect of our online community, and our in-house expert on how to ethically capture attention. Your core responsibilities will be:
Architect of Attention: Develop and execute a platform-native content strategy for our global territories across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Threads, LinkedIn, and Facebook. You'll know which platforms we're missing and why we need to be there.
Mine for Creative Gold: You are endlessly resourceful. You'll turn a hilarious comment into our next viral video, a customer's photo into a UGC campaign, and data into creative direction.
Community First, Always: You won't hide behind the logo. You'll be in the DMs, comments, and forums daily--servicing customers, sparking conversations, and making our global audience feel heard.
Data is Your Dopamine Hit: You'll live by analytics, tracking KPIs to constantly optimize for growth and virality. You'll tell us not just what is working, but why*, using tools like Emplifi (bonus points if you're already proficient). Collaborate to Dominate: Work with marketing, sales, and engineering to plan killer campaigns, product launches, and promotions that align with business objectives.
The Non-Negotiables:
Digitally Native & Dialled-In: You have an innate, intuitive understanding of internet culture, memes, and trends. You're the first to spot a new platform and know how to leverage it for a brand.
A Passion For the Outdoors: You touch grass. You eat, sleep, and breathe adventure and overlanding. You know the key influencers, the best trails, the latest gear, and the community's unspoken rules. Your passion is 100% authentic.
A Creative Problem-Solver: You can shoot and edit vertical video on your phone, design a banger graphic in Canva and write a caption that stops thumbs from scrolling.
A Data-Driven Hustler: You're proficient with social media management and analytics tools. You see a metric and see a story and an opportunity.
A Proactive Owner: You have a proven track record of growing accounts and engaging communities. You're a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and meets tight deadlines.
The Essentials You Bring:
3-5 years of experience in social media management and/or community coordination.
A diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or a convincing case study on why you don't need one).
A valid driver's license (non-negotiable).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to travel (locally and internationally) and work flexible hours when required.
Bonus Magic: Meta certifications (e.g., Community Manager, Ads), Vehicle and mechanical knowledge, Experience with Emplifi, You've personally gone viral (for the right reasons).
