The Role
Job Purpose:
The Social Media & Video Content Manager is responsible for leading daily content execution across Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. This includes scripting and editing both short-form and long-form video content, writing scroll-stopping hooks and CTAs, engaging with communities, and implementing growth strategies. The ideal candidate is highly creative, fluent in platform trends, and takes ownership of content that drives performance and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Video Content Strategy & Production:

  • Write scripts and plan content using trends, audience research, and marketing goals.
  • Edit high-converting videos using Descript or similar tools (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, etc.).
  • Produce both short-form (Reels, Shorts) and long-form (YouTube) content with clear hooks, storytelling, and CTAs.
Social Media Growth & Execution:
  • Own publishing and scheduling across Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
  • Optimize content strategy by platform based on insights and algorithmic behavior.
  • Stay current with trends, competitor strategies, and best practices.
Community Engagement:
  • Respond to comments and DMs to foster trust and engagement.
  • Monitor audience sentiment and escalate feedback as needed.
  • Represent the brand voice consistently and professionally across platforms.
Copywriting & Messaging:
  • Write captions, headlines, hooks, CTAs, and social media posts that resonate with our audience.
  • Craft clear, concise, and persuasive copy for social campaigns, video scripts, and community engagement.
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain a consistent voice across all content.
Performance Tracking & Iteration:
  • Track post and channel performance using built-in analytics and reporting tools.
  • Identify patterns and adjust content accordingly to improve reach and engagement.
  • Share weekly updates and suggestions for continuous growth.
Collaboration & Culture:
  • Communicate clearly with internal team members and occasional clients.
  • Contribute ideas and solutions proactively -- no micromanagement required.

Ideal Profile
Qualifications and Skills:
  • 3+ years managing social media accounts with measurable growth results.
  • Strong video editing and scripting background (Descript, CapCut, Adobe Premiere, etc.).
  • Demonstrated ability to write clear, engaging copy (hooks, captions, CTAs).
  • Deep understanding of Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube ecosystems.
  • Self-starter with excellent communication and time management.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced agency environment with shifting priorities.
Bonus Skills:
  • Experience with YouTube channel optimization and community building.
  • Familiarity with tools like Go High Level or content automation platforms.
  • Background in digital marketing, paid ads, or direct-response strategy.
Remote Work and Equipment Requirements:
This is a remote position. Candidate must have access to a reliable computer, high-speed internet, webcam, and microphone for virtual meetings.
  • Working Hours:Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Central Standard Time (CST)

Content Quality & Consistency:
  • Weekly output of engaging, high-quality short-form videos and graphics
Ad Campaign Performance:
  • Engagement, click-through, and conversion metrics from paid campaigns
Copywriting Effectiveness:
  • Conversion rates and engagement from ad copy performance
Publishing Deadlines:
  • Adherence to posting schedules without oversight
CRM & Automation Efficiency:
  • Timely follow-ups, workflow accuracy, and client engagement
Creative Initiative:
  • Contribution of new content ideas, proactive campaign adjustments, and process improvements
