Job Description


Our client is looking for a Social Media and Content Coordinator.

Purpose
The primary role of the Social Media and content coordinator is to create captivating content for social media across all platforms as well as content creation for all forms of media. The candidate will manage all social media profiles for Frogfoot including customer support. Must have a valid driverxe2x80x99s license and own vehicle.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain social media strategy
  • Manage all social media profiles
  • Be the voice of the brand with consistent community engagement
  • Create all content for email campaigns, website, social media and collateral in line with the brand
  • Run and report on Facebook advertising
  • Social media reporting
  • Work with Brand Activations team to ensure that all activities are consistent
  • Create relevant imagery using Adobe products
  • Create and maintain relevant social media accounts
  • Develop innovative and creative content across media platforms.
  • Keep track of social media trends and competition.
  • Deliver monthly reports with statistics and results for each account.
  • Manage and respond to complaints from initial post to resolution.
  • Increase traffic on all digital platforms.
  • Development & management of the social media calendar ensuring that it aligns with the brand calendar events and activities.
  • This will include management of SM profiles outside of work hours and may include weekend management
  • Online reputation management
  • Pre-emptively identify potential risks and crises
  • Manage paid campaigns if required on all profiles
Manage content
  • Develop copy and write content across a wide variety of integrated platforms including digital and collateral)
  • Copy-edit all content for internal and external use
  • Must have a creative flair and the ability to think conceptually
  • Ensure all copy is consistent and in line with the brand guidelines
  • Must have an understanding and keep up to date with the latest in design and creative trends
  • Writing clear, persuasive, original, highly creative and imaginative copy
Requirements
  • A Marketing qualification (degree or diploma )
  • Excellent communication skills xe2x80x93 both verbal and written
  • A solid grounding in social media marketing and content creation
  • Experience with analytics
  • Minimum of 2 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in social media and digital marketing
  • Good understanding of communities and analysis of behaviour
  • Ability to analyse data by providing insights
  • Creative thinking
  • Previous telecommunication experience would be beneficial.
  • Experience with Adobe programs
