Position Overview: Positively manage all internal and external communication to build the company culture, knowledge and alignment across the stakeholder base. Lead all Public Relations interfaces for the company and act as the voice for all media relations. Drive proactive and reactive PR programs for the company brand, products, leadership, finance and regulatory initiatives. Manage, protect and enhance the company's reputation across all stakeholders including the media. Develop and implement internal and external PR and Stakeholder Engagement strategy that is aligned with the company's business objectives. Develop and maintain crisis communication plans and provide counsel to EXCO leaders on crisis communication and reputational risk management. Ensure the development and monitoring of communications related metrics to track the internal and external perception of the company and the performance of communications strategies to address these. Develop EXCO leadership profiling, imaging plans and communication capabilities aimed at positively positioning top leadership in the eyes of internal and external stakeholders. Drive the Product, Brand Public relations and Sponsorship strategy and initiatives. Manage third party Communications relationships as required and act as the voice for the company in all media relations. Responsible to develop and maintain proactive media relations strategy to enhance relationships with local, national and trade news media. Coordinate, script, produce and publish all internal and external communications including reactive media campaigns e.g. press releases, articles. Job Requirements: Relevant 3-year degree/ diploma (NQF level 6). Preferably in Public Relations, Communications and/ or Journalism. Post-graduate degree (NQF level 8), MBA/MBL will be an advantage. 7 years' experience of which at least 2 years must be on management level. Experience in the ICT sector will be an added advantage.
