Snr Quantity Surveyor
Job Description
Candidates should be self-starting and highly motivated, with the ability to operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The best candidates will be detailed and organized team players with demonstrated delivery in high pressure situations. The main purpose of this position is to prepare cost estimates and plans, audit projects, manage construction revenue and costs and administer construction contracts.

Measurement and certification
Budget and management
Contract management and administration

Staff management
Minimum Requirements
National Diploma/ Degree (Quantity Surveying) At least seven years of experience in a Civil Engineering construction environment, including at least one year in a senior role. Experience using CCS essential
Knowledge and Skills
Contract Law and insurances Quantity surveying Basic Financial reporting and cash management Construction methods and outputs, programming and scheduling SHEQ legislation and application Basic IR and relevant labour legislation Key attributes of the role: attention to detail, deadline driven and ability to work autonomously Proven ability to manage a team of Quantity Surveyors * Able to handle conflict and able to negotiate
