Core Description

Manage the day-to-day running and delivery of large/strategic projects/programmes with BCX customers within the specified and agreed upon scope, timeframe, budget, and quality requirements. To lead and manage a team of project managers and other project professionals to execute IT projects and programmes. Key Deliverables / Primary Functions

Define project/programme plans incorporating scope, budget, and timeframes to ensure quality and successful project/programme execution.

Manage the delivery of large/strategic project/s and programmes to successful completion in accordance with scope, budget, timeframe, and service level agreements.

Monitor governance and quality of the projects, including adoption of PMO methodologies, principles, tools, standards, and processes.

Provide onsite guidance for the project/programme team to build and motivate team members to meet project milestones. Resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path deliverables, and escalate as and when required.

Track and report on project/programme status and performance, monitoring project overheads and capital expenses, project/programme deliverables, dependencies, and timeframes.

Identify and mitigate risks within the project/programme and manage project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery.

Contribute to process improvement initiatives to improve project/programme delivery.

Collaborate and facilitate optimum engagement between and within BCX Divisions and establish and enhance relationships and network with partners, customers and vendors in support of market dominance.

Motivate and coach project teams in support of performance excellence, employee engagement, innovation and transformation. 7 years' IT project management experience, of which 2 years is at a management level.

If the highest qualification is grade 12, 9 years' IT project management experience, of which 2 years is at a management level. Certifications Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or Prince2 or PMBOK or equivalent Agile Scrum Master Certification Professional Memberships in Relevant Industry Level of Engagement & Span of Control
