Minimum Requirements
:
Bachelors Degree or relevant equivalent NQF Level 7 qualification
5 - 8 years' experience in a similar environment
Strategic and business planning experience
Monitoring and evaluation experience
Committee management experience
Operations management skills
Project management skills
Core Responsibilities
:
Plan, organise, lead, and manage Committees, related processes, activities and initiatives for the Legislature
Establish and manage integrated, sustainable and effective overall Committee and Secretarial support services that meet organisational demands
Manage the Committees section through planning, organising, staffing, activating, monitoring and control, an efficient and effective support services to Committees of the Legislature
Provide feedback on governance, risk and compliance practices
Monitor and enforce effective financial control. Corporate governance and financial compliance
Provide professional advice and consulting services to customers

The successful candidate will be required to sign a performance contract as per Council resolution.
Candidates may be requested to submit proof of the NQF level applicable to the qualifications they have obtained.
