Minimum Requirements
:
BCom Financial Management or relevant equivalent NQF Level 7 qualification
10 years' experience in financial management environment
Core Responsibilities
:
Plan, organise, lead, manage, implement, control and monitor overall administrative and financial practices, ensuring compliance with accounting practices and Local Government Acts, in alignment with the overall finance strategy in respect of credit management
Give input and implement strategic capability and leadership to support the strategic objectives of the division
Perform and ensure operational processes to ensure that operational processes are delivered in accordance with set objectives
Ensure governance and risk management to eliminate risk and ensure financial stability in accordance with relevant legislation
Ensure financial processes to ensure compliance to relevant financial legislation and MFMA requirements
Ensure customer service orientation to provide and improve customer service satisfaction

The successful candidate will be required to sign a performance contract as per Council resolution.
Candidates may be requested to submit proof of the NQF level applicable to the qualifications they have obtained.
