Minimum Requirements

:


B Degree in Development Studies / Agriculture or relevant equivalent NQF Level 7 qualification 10 - 15 years' experience in a Municipal environment

Core Responsibilities

:


Plan, organise, lead and control mobilising of resources regarding investment and agricultural initiatives and projects Provide strategic input capability and leadership in the development of the commercial agriculture policies and guidelines to ensure effective and efficient commercial agriculture development functions Plan and implement operational process that are aligned with the divisional objectives to ensure implementation of the operational processes as contemplated in the defined operational strategy of the division Manage and maintain governance and risk management activities of the division to ensure compliance with governance and risk management requirements Participate in and implement in the financial process of the division during budgetary processes to ensure compliance with financial controls as contemplated in the MFMA Manage and ensure customer service orientation environment to ensure sound relations with the customer in relation to commercial agriculture development activities

The successful candidate will be required to sign a performance contract as per Council resolution.
