Minimum Requirements
:
BCom Financial Management Degree or relevant equivalent NQF Level 7 qualification
8 years' experience in accounting environment
Core Responsibilities
:
Plan, develop, control and monitor overall financial reporting function ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, Local and National Government Act and regulations in alignment with the overall finance strategy
Contribute and implement strategic capability and leadership to achieve set strategic objectives for the organisation, division and section
Perform operational processes to ensure operational plans to meet established objectives, SDBIP targets and operational standards
Ensure governance and risk management to comply with financial related regulations
Ensure financial process to ensure compliance to the MFMA and GAAP
Ensure customer service orientation to satisfy customers and relevant stakeholders
