Smelting Assistant

Job Description
We are seeking a hardworking and safety-conscious individuals to join our team as a Smelting Assistants.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the smelting of gold ore, including furnace preparation, loading, and monitoring. Ensure proper handling of materials in high-heat environments. Support the smelting team with daily operations, cleaning, and equipment checks. Follow strict safety protocols and always use personal protective equipment. Report equipment issues or irregularities to supervisors promptly. Maintain cleanliness and operational readiness in the smelting area.
Requirements:
Grade 12 / Matric (essential). Experience working in
high-heat environments (essential).
Previous experience in smelting, gold processing, or a similar mining environment
(advantageous). Ability to work in aphysically demanding and safety-critical role
. Strong focus on attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.Market related salary with benefits (Medical Aid and Pension Fund)

Pay: R10000,00 - R16000,00 per month
