To set up the Slitting machine using the SOP and SOC to Slit all Semi finished Laminated roll-stock to the below customer requirement2. Control of raw material usageo Complete the required Production Order at a material yield of 95% or bettero Complete the daily Slitting production at an 90% efficiency rateo Complete all administrative tasks as required by the job (production no, date, weight of roll, width etc) written on the core label)3. Safetyo Operate the bag making machine in compliance with SEE safety rules and regulationso Report any hazards that he/she may observe in his/her working area to the Supervisor or Safety representative and correct those which he/she can act ono Do random Safety Observations and submit to Supervisor4. Qualityo Always follow the Sealed Air Africa Pty (Ltd) Quality Policy Manual ISO 90001: 2000 for product specification.o Ensure that the production details for each job are recorded accurately and neatly on the Q.C log sheeto Ensure that QC check are done and recorded on all orders as per the specification5. Responsibility for Equipment belonging to SEEo To have a fair understanding of the mechanical operation of his/her machine in order to carry out corrective action when faults occur in the slitting processo Change the slitting blades, knifes and essential equipment as and when requiredo Maintain the working condition of the slitting machine by doing preventative maintenance on a weekly basiso Responsible for the safety, care, cleaning and reasonable maintenance of all equipment used by yourselfo Ultimately responsible for the equipment under your control, even if also in use by other personnel;i. Maintain good housekeeping of all areas under your controlii.
