An established renovations specialist in the Southern Peninsula is seeking a skilled Tiler to join their team. The ideal candidate must be proactive and able to work independently as well as within a team. High attention to detail and precision are essential to ensure high-quality finishes for various surfaces. Taking pride in your work is essential for this position.

Requirements:

Based in Southern Peninsula or surrounds South African Resident or Valid Work Permit Fluent English Speaker Minimum of three contactable references Clear Criminal Record Excellent communication skills are essential 2 - 3 years of tiling experience Strong attention to detail and precision in measurements The ideal candidate is a perfectionist who takes pride in their work Knowledge of adhesives, grouting, and waterproofing techniques Experience in both residential and commercial tiling Ability to work efficiently to meet project deadlines
Responsibilities:

Measure and mark surfaces to be tiled, ensuring accurate alignment. Prepare surfaces by levelling, smoothing, and applying adhesives. Cut, shape, and lay tiles using hand and power tools. Apply grout and sealants for a clean and professional finish. Repair and replace damaged tiles as needed. Perform general building and renovation tasks when tiling work is not required.
