Job Description

We are looking to employ Trolley Porter Site Supervisors/Manager for the following sites in Cape Town:-

• Paarl Mall
• Houtbay
• Kenilworth
• Somerset Mall
• N1 City

As a Trolley Supervisor/Site Manager you will be responsible for:

• The supervision of all trolley porting staff focussing on their performance in terms of standards of trolleys and their behaviour whilst on duty
• Ensuring that a first-class service is delivered to the client.
• Reviewing work schedules
• Continuous daily feedback on respective WhatsApp company groups
• Liaising with Area Manager regarding trolley cleaning materials
• Monitoring of all trolley activities
• Ensuring all staff are aware of the Health and Safety policies and procedures.
• Completion and submission of Timesheets and Kronos Reports on site
• Ensuring that trolley bay is always full in store
• Ensuring that all staff adhere to positive customer service
• Ensuring that staff work according to site schedule provided
• Monitoring and ensuring code of conduct is adhered to by all staff on site
• Daily communication with store manager and/or operations manager
• Ensuring no trolley loss on site
• Ensuring discipline of staff is adhered to on site
• Always ensuring hygiene of trolleys before replenishing trolley bay
• Ensuring that morning counts are submitted daily accurately
• Ensuring that closing pictures and counts are submitted daily

Requirements:

• Leadership skills
• Must have trolley porting experience
• Clear criminal record
• Must have a smart phone and be to communicate on WhatsApp
• Must be able to take instructions
• Ability to count
• Must be Bilingual (Ability to communicate in English and IsiXhosa)
• Professional attitude and capability and personal initiative
• The ability to interact professionally with the client
