Job Description
- Matric (Grade 12 / Standard 10) or Equivalent (Required)
- Relevant field related Diploma or Degree will be an added advantage
- Valid Locomotive Driver's License
- Valid Brake Certificate
- 2-3 Years' Experience in a relevant position/environment (More than 3 years of work
- Computer literacy with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel
- Valid Driver's license
Staff Management xe2x80xa2 Manage time and attendance
- Manage Overtime
- Human Factor Management
- Manage Leave Roster
- Discipline and grievance management
Management
- Ensure quality of maintenance activities
- Control maintenance material/stock control
- Ensure adherence to maintenance plans
- Liaise with client regarding maintenance requirements
- Advise on maintenance requirements
Management
- Ensure conformance to client's production schedule
- Ensure suitably qualified personnel to perform duties
Environment
Management
- Ensure conformance to statutory requirements
- Appointed safety representative on site
- Manage medical fitness and induction of all ARTS employees
- Participate in the safety and environmental audits
- Write up safety procedures
- Conduct safety incidents investigations
- Maintain Safety Management System
- Manage PPE
- Task Observations:
frequent and consistent observations
- Identification of risk and unsafe behaviours
- Develop corrective action to mitigate the risk identified
Provide Team
Supervision and
Leadership
- Create an environment oriented to trust, open communication, creative
- Coach, motivate and help develop team members;
- Listen to team members' feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts
