The Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of the company working on insurance-related projects, including property inspections, damage assessments, and repairs. This role ensures compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and timelines while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and project efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervision & Coordination:
Manage and assign work to field staff based on project requirements.
Procurement of materials and essential items required for each project.
Monitor daily activities to ensure work is completed on time and within scope.
Serve as the primary liaison between the office and clients whilst on site.
Quality Control & Compliance:
Inspect completed work for quality assurance and adherence to company and industry standards.
Ensure that the company follows all regulatory, safety, and environmental requirements.
Project Management:
Review scope of works/job cards/estimates and invoices for accuracy and fairness.
Track project timelines and budgets and escalate issues as needed.
Maintain detailed records of all project activities and progress.
Vendor Management:
Recruit and qualified sub-contractors as well as additional skilled field staff as required.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide training or guidance when necessary.
Maintain positive, professional relationships with service providers and field staff.
Customer Interaction:
Address customer inquiries or concerns related to project work being carried out.
Facilitate communication between the office and clients.
Qualifications:
Valid South African Identification/Valid work permit (if not from South Africa)
Valid South African drivers license.
2+ years of experience in insurance claims, construction supervision, or property restoration.
2+ years of experience with construction work, residential and commercial property construction, maintenance and renovations.
Knowledge of property maintenance/restoration practices.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficient in communicating with senior management.
Ability to travel to job sites as needed.
Reliable means of transportation.

Pay: R7500,00 - R9000,00 per month
