Site Safety Officer (Construction) - DurbanOur client is looking for an experienced Site Construction Safety Officer to join their team. This role will entail being responsible for compliance to the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulations and other legal requirements (Construction Regulation and Mines Act), which includes assisting with the maintenance of systems (ISO 45001) and processes to manage risks and hazards. Main focus area will be on projects, site and regional offices.Duties include:Audits and reporting / Client engagementsVerify Health and Safety requirements are carried out in all departmentsEnsure compliance to the ISO 45001 system in line with the SHE monitoring scheduleControl and maintain SHEQ documentationHazard identification and Risk AnalysisConduct SHE Committee meetingsCoordinate and participate in the investigation of incidents and accidents - compile and submit investigation reports to the SHEQ ManagerRequirements:Matric SAMTRACSACPCMP - candidate level or preferably registeredHIRAIncident Investigation Level 3 (advantageous)ASHEPP advantageousISO 45001Valid drivers licence2 - 3 years experienceSound working knowledge of Occupational Health and SafetyExperience in the construction industryExperience in manufacturing - advantageous Suitable applications can be emailed to liezel@pronel.co.za Note: Immediate availability advantageous
