Site Manager/Foreman needed for Johannesburg

A Property Development Company based in Johannesburg is looking for a Site Manager/Foreman to join their Team

POSITION INFO:/Manager:

• Site Foreman/Manager - Residential Construction
• Salary: R30 000 Gross P/M (Market related depending on the Candidate's current salary, skills, experience, qualifications, etc.)
• Based in Johannesburg

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• 5 years + experience in the construction industry on residential and commercial projects
• Minimum level of Grade 12/N4 (Matric)
• Valid drivers license
• Mobile phone
• Own transport
• Assertive references with proven skills gained in the industry are essential

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Must be skilled in interpreting building plans and working with concrete structures and
• finishing works that include wet structures
• Have strong setting out skills, understand concrete structure work through to brickwork and
• finishings
• Must have worked with high end finishes relating but not limited to kitchens, bathrooms,
• ceilings, bulkheads and general finishing work on high end residential projects
• Supervisory and site management with the day to day running of sites
• Overseeing of labour and sub-contractors ensuring that company rules and regulations, as
• well as disciplinary codes are adhered to
• Ensure compliance with OHS standards and ensure that same is adhered to
• Ensure that company and building standards and regulations are adhered to
• Resource management ensuring tool, plant and material readiness on site
• Updating of all registers and time sheets
• Planning of work ahead and keeping to planning schedules
• Update clients and management on progress and project timelines
