Job Description
RPO Recruitment's client, a well-established construction and property development firm in South Africa is currently seeking a professional and detail-oriented Site Engineer to provide technical support on a large development project in Cape Town. This role is ideal for a driven individual with strong analytical abilities and construction site experience.
Responsibilities:
- Perform setting-out and surveying functions using site equipment
- Ensure compliance with engineering designs, specifications, and quality standards
- Provide technical support to site teams and management
- Assist with planning, progress monitoring, and reporting
- Coordinate with contractors and consultants
- National Diploma in Building/BTech in Construction Management or similar
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in setting-out and reading engineering drawings
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Hands-on leader who can motivate and manage site teams effectively
- Committed to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency
- Must reside in Cape Town (no relocation applications will be considered or accommodation provided)
Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience and qualifications
