Site Engineer (commercial Construction)
Job Description
Our client within the commercial construction space is seeking a skilled site engineer to join the team. Candidates are required to have a relevant degree within the fields of construction or engineering. With proven experience within the commercial construction space, and site experience. A valid driver's license is required in order to be cosnidered for the role.
Having the relevant site experience and qualifications, candidates need to be detail-orientated, proactive, have an eagerness to advance technical responsibilities, as well as have the ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced team.
Core Technical Skills Include:
- Strong administrative capabilities (such as QA checklists, and experience with Fieldlens or similar QA/RFI management systems).
- Solid understanding of wet trades and finishing.
- Basic setting-out knowledge (Total Station).
- Ability to monitor, coordinate, & manage subcontractors.
- The ability to conduct QA checks, compile checklists & ensure adherence to project standards.
- The ability to manage RFIs & QA processes via Fieldlens or similar software.
