Job Description
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Site Agent to manage and oversee road-related construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all on-site activities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The Site Agent will liaise with stakeholders, manage resources, ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and maintain accurate project documentation.
Requirements
Minimum qualification of a National Diploma (NQF Level 6) or above in Civil Engineering (failure to provide proof of qualification will result in disqualification) Proven experience in road-related construction projects, gained before and/or after qualification Strong project management skills to oversee construction activities and meet deadlines In-depth knowledge of South African construction regulations, safety standards, and road construction techniques Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contracts Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage teams and coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers Proficiency in project management software and reporting tools Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites Professional registration with a relevant body (e.g., ECSA) is an advantage
