Lead the planning and execution of the project

Determine and define scope of work and deliverables

Define resources needed to complete the project

Coordinating staff and internal resources on the project site

Managing project progress and ensure project timelines are adhered to

Managing relationships with clients and stakeholders

Manage the project budget

Submit daily activities/tasks planned for the day every morning before work commences and daily site diary at the end of each day

Manage resource allocation

Plan and schedule project timelines

Track project deliverables using appropriate tools

Provide direction and support to the project team

Quality assurance to ensure quality standards are achieved on the project

Formulate a detailed report at the end of your two weeks practical test period defining project progress, problems identified and recommendations for a way forward

Implement and manage project changes and required interventions to achieve project outputs

Prepare cost analysis based on the architectural drawings, engineering estimates, materials required, and labor involved.

Prepare cost plans to enable design teams to produce practical designs for construction projects, which involve liaising with architects, engineers and subcontractors.

Certification of subcontractor monthly valuations and final accounts.

Evaluate tenders from contractors and subcontractors and, where appropriate, negotiate with the contractors.

Monitor and keep track of project progress and are responsible for the measurement and valuation of variations in the work during the contract, for agreement of interim payments and the final account.
