Technical Broking and Risk Internship

Locations: Durban, Centurion, and Cape Town | Duration: 12 months | Start Date: 1 November 2025

About the Program

Successful candidates will be placed in our Durban, Centurion, and Cape Town offices, where they will gain hands-on exposure to the technical broking and risk environment. This program forms part of our long-term skills pipeline strategy, offering structured learning and on-the-job training with industry professionals.

We are looking for interns who demonstrate the following:

Educational Background: Minimum Grade 12. A diploma/degree in Risk Management, Finance, or a related field is advantageous. Technical Aptitude: Strong numerical skills, analytical thinking, and problem-solving ability. Industry Interest: Keen interest in the insurance sector, particularly technical broking and risk management, with a willingness to learn industry regulations, underwriting principles, and policy structures. Prior industry experience will be an advantage. Soft Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. Technology Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel, and confidence in working with digital tools and systems. Behavioral Competencies: Professionalism, integrity, accountability, and a collaborative mindset.
