Minimum Requirements:


Reliable male with sober habits and in good health

Able to write and communicate in Afrikaans / English

Red Seal Certificate a must

Strong recent experience as an automotive petrol mechanic a must (not apprentice experience), specifically in German models / light vehicles a must (bakkies, passenger vehicles, motorcycles etc.)

Experienced in engine and gearbox repair, mechanical / electrical fault finding, diagnostics and general repairs essential

Fully independently functional a must, and able to work under deadlines

Valid driver's license and own transport

Strong attention to detail and able to attend to timekeeping and job cards documentation very important

Residing in Pretoria (within daily commuting distance from Silverton)

No lawful termination at any previous employer due to misconduct or non-performance

Stable employment record and contactable / traceable employment references a must

To start as soon as possible


Work hours: Mondays to Fridays from 7am-5pm and Saturdays from 8am-1pm



Duties:


Full automotive mechanic duties for automotive repair and maintenance service workshop

Engine and gearbox repair, mechanical / electrical fault finding, diagnostics and general repairs on light vehicles, specifically German brands

Keep accurate records of maintenance work and parts used.

Completion of job cards and timekeeping documentation


Salary: R 18 000.00 - R 25 000.00 gross (Depending on relevant experience)
