Silo Manager - VKB Grain, Kingston Bunker (Newcastle area)

The Role:

Requirements

Grade 12 or NQF4 qualification. Successful completion of the New Manager's Program (or equivalent). 3-5 years' proven management experience in the grain industry. Completion of all relevant grain grading and silo operating courses. Strong ability to align with and achieve organizational, operational, and strategic goals. Computer literacy in MS Office.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure continuous grain flow and protection through monitoring, fumigation, and tube temperature management. Oversee grain tube measurement in line with policy and safety standards. Manage input trade duties, silo operations, and inventory. Handle financial and administrative management with precision. Lead infrastructure upkeep and general management duties. Deliver excellent customer service to farmers and stakeholders. Inspire and guide your team to achieve together.
