Job Summary
The main focus of this role will be to manage the daily operational efficiency of the depot, ensure the plant, equipment and facilities are maintained in a safe working environment.
- 5 years of experience as a Silo Bag Depot Manager
- Strong operational background, agile individual with the ability to multitask
- Likeable / relatable person with excellent staff management skills
- Preventative maintenance and efficiency mind-set in an agricultural environment
- Take control of ground preparation, bags layout and measurement
- Solid administration skills with regular reporting to head office manager
- Good planning and problem-solving skills, a self-managed individual
- Understand risks in the Agri-environment, with a focus on Maize, Soya, Sunflower and Wheat.
- The depot aim is to provide an optimal service to our clients through innovation with state-of-the-art dryers, material handling and grading equipment to ensure seamless operations.
Certification very import in the following:
- Fumigation
- Grading of maize, soya, sunflower and wheat
- Health and Safety accreditation
