Job Summary
Location: Goedgedacht Farm, Kestell, Free State
Crops: Wheat, Maize and Soybean
Salary: market related basic salary PLUS provident fund and medical aid benefit PLUS Cell phone and electronics
Starting date: ASAP/Immediately
Essential Requirement
- Fluent in Afrikaans is essential
- Must have own vehicle and be willing to travel between sites
- Must have minimum 7 years demonstrated silo bag management experience
- Must live nearby and/or in the community
- Must be Grading certified (Maize and Soyabeans)
- Must have a Fumigation certificate
- Must have a Health & Safety certificate
- Must be MS Excel proficient
- Staff management of company appointed employees at site
- Overall responsibility for Quantity and Quality of stock
- Responsible for stock management
- Preparation of soil and placement of bags
- Responsible for maintaining PPECB records
- Daily site inspections
- Daily reporting to Head Office on all site operations
- Weekly depot report
- Monthly closure of contracts and stock take
- Security, Health & Safety and Compliance management
