Job Description
SIGNAGE ESTIMATOR
REQUIREMENTS:
Grade 12 with Maths and/or Accounting.
35 years estimating experience (signage preferred).
Relevant diploma/degree (advantageous).
Computer literate: Odoo, MS Office, CorelDRAW, AutoCAD (beneficial).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Accurately estimate costs, materials, and labour based on project specs.
Analyse labour, material, and time requirements to compute costs.
Assist in preparing tenders, contracts, budgets, and related documents.
Track design/installation changes and adjust budgets accordingly.
Coordinate with contractors/subcontractors and manage outwork allowances.
Source materials and optimize production methods.
Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Manage sub-contractor and team expenses (e.g., travel).
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
Attention to detail and financial acumen.
Proficient in MS Excel; able to read technical drawings.
Clear communication, both verbal and written.
Team player with strong interpersonal and time management skills.
Reliable, adaptable, and positive with excellent follow-up.
