Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Short-Term Insurance Advisor to join our team, specialising in personal and commercial insurance in Swellendam Western Cape. This role involves managing all activities related to short-term insurance sales, client service, and policy administration.
Youll be working in a fast-paced environment where versatility, initiative, and strong interpersonal skills are key to success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on short-term insurance products across personal and commercial lines
- Handle quotations, renewals, claims, and policy amendments
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Use the TIAL system effectively for policy management
- Prioritize tasks and manage high volumes of work efficiently
- Negotiate with insurers and clients to ensure optimal outcomes
- RE5 qualification
- At least 5 years of practical experience in short-term insurance
- Proficient in the TIAL system
- Highly proficient in Afrikaans and English
- An extrovert with excellent communication skills
- A team player with a strong yet humble personality
- Self-motivated and able to take initiative
- Capable of working under pressure and handling large workloads
- A natural problem solver with strong negotiation skills
- Honest, reliable, and able to build trust with colleagues and clients
- Versatile and adaptable within the short-term insurance environment
- Comfortable working with clients of all ages and backgrounds
