Samba in Bloemfontein has a vacant position available as short-term insurance sales representative for a dynamic person with an entrepreneurial spirit

The candidate must have the following minimum requirements:

• Live and work in Bloemfontein;
• Grade 12;
• Valid driver's license (minimum code B) with reliable transportation;
• Own cell phone;
• 5 years of sales experience in short term insurance;
• RE5 and all relevant FSCA qualifications (candidate must be fit and proper as defined);
• Computer-literate (MS Office);
• Bilingual Afrikaans and English (speak, read and write);
• Must be available outside office hours if required;
• Relevant tertiary insurance qualification will be advantageous.

Key responsibilities and attributes:

• Prepare and implement relevant marketing strategies to grow the short-term insurance book, including cold-calling and consultations with members;
• Liaise between members and short-term insurance providers to ensure members receive high quality service;
• Oversee insurance claims to ensure fair treatment and satisfaction of members;
• Follow defined administrative processes, from inception of policy through to processing of claims;
• Be target-driven and passionate and have a client-centred focus.

• Basic salary: Market related (Basic and commission component)
