My client, a leading and well-kown company requires an experienced Shopper marketing Manager for a 1 year Fixed Term Contract
Role Purpose
The Senior Shopper Marketing Manager will act as the key interface between our clients and internal teams, ensuring best-in-class shopper marketing solutions that drive conversion at point of purchase. This role is responsible for leading client relationships, taking detailed shopper marketing briefs, developing innovative strategies, and delivering impactful in-store and omnichannel shopper experiences. The ideal candidate will bring agency-side experience at a senior level and demonstrate exceptional strategic thinking, client management, and presentation skills.
Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (Postgraduate qualification advantageous).
• Experience:

• 8+ years in shopper marketing, trade marketing, or brand activation, with at least 3 years in a senior strategic role.
• Strong agency background at Director or Senior Account Director level, handling FMCG/retail clients.
• Proven track record in developing and executing shopper marketing strategies.
• Technical Skills:

• Deep understanding of FMCG, retail channels, and shopper insights.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to interpret data and insights to inform strategies.

Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Relationship Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for designated clients on shopper marketing initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients, appointed agencies acting as a strategic advisor on shopper marketing.
• Attend and actively contribute to Total Connection Planning brand planning sessions, providing insights and recommendations.

Brief Management & Strategy Development

• Take comprehensive client briefs for shopper marketing campaigns and translate them into actionable strategies.
• Lead the development of shopper marketing strategies aligned to brand objectives and retail realities.
• Work cross-functionally to ensure alignment between brand, trade, insights and shopper strategies.

Creative Ideation & Campaign Development

• Collaborate with internal creative and design teams to develop compelling shopper key visuals, market solutions and concepts.
• Bring innovative ideas to the table based on insights, category trends, and shopper trends and behavior.
• Oversee the development and delivery of proposals, ensuring strategic integrity and creativity.

Presentation & Business Alignment

• Present strategies, ideas, and campaign concepts to clients and internal stakeholders confidently and persuasively.
• Act as a thought leader internally, sharing best practices and driving shopper-centric thinking.

Execution & In-Store Experience

• Ensure shopper marketing strategies translate effectively into retail and in-store executions.
• Work closely with shopper marketing and operation teams to deliver seamless in-store campaigns that drive conversion.
