to lead our retail operations and help elevate the Cape Coffee experience.

The Role:

We're seeking a hands-on, proactive

Shop Manager

who is as enthusiastic about coffee as we are. In this role, you'll oversee day-to-day shop operations, and ensure our customers receive knowledgeable service and support--especially when it comes to selecting, maintaining, or repairing their Jura machines.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee daily shop operations and staff schedules Provide expert advice and product demonstrations for Jura coffee machines Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and service requests Coordinate machine servicing and repairs, maintaining accurate records Maintain shop presentation, inventory levels, and merchandising standards Collaborate with management on promotions, sales targets, and improvements Ensure high standards of customer service and product knowledge

Requirements:

Previous retail or shop management experience (2+ years preferred) Strong interest in coffee and coffee machinery (Jura experience a plus) Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks Technical aptitude or experience with small appliance repairs is a bonus Comfortable using POS systems and basic inventory tools
