Key Accountabilities

:

Managerial Function

Maintain high-quality food standards & portion controls within each section. Oversee our kitchen staff's compliance with all health code and sanitation requirements Provide exceptional customer service and lead staff to do the same Respond to customer complaints quickly and resolve them effectively Work with a team to project future needs for kitchen supplies, goods, and cleaning products. Maintain inventory of all needed supplies Manage the work schedules of the shop staff

Stock Management

Manage Stock shortages (when the shop cannot offer the full menu for the day) Monitor expired stock Log stock variances Monitor stock quality throughout the day

Maintaining the Shop Look and Feel

Ensure the shop is ready before the opening of sales Ensure all staff are dressed according to policy Ensure that all daily check sheets are completed accurately

Competencies

Matric with Mathematics and English Intermediate Word, Excel experience Must have own reliable transport Ability to apply a positive, suggestive sales approach to guide customers High attention to detail Communicate and write effectively in English Ability to memorize the menu, answer customer questions and make menu recommendations. Must understand food safety Must have own vehicle
