We're Hiring: Shop Assistant & Delivery Driver

We're looking for a friendly, experienced, and well-rounded individual to join our small, dynamic team at our florist and gift shop. This is a hands-on role that combines in-store customer service with local deliveries.

About the Role:

As our new team member, you'll assist with daily shop operations, support customers in-store and over the phone, and handle deliveries. We're seeking someone who is reliable, enthusiastic, and takes pride in delivering excellent service.

Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Opening and closing the shop Assisting customers in-store and via telephone Processing sales using our point-of-sale system Supporting stock management and unpacking deliveries Delivering floral arrangements to customers Collecting orders or shopping for supplies from local vendors Maintaining the overall cleanliness and presentation of the shop
The Ideal Candidate:

Has previous retail experience Is confident and competent behind the wheel, with a valid driver's license Possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a team Can remain calm and efficient under pressure Has experience with point-of-sale systems Floristry experience and/or a knowledge of flowers is a definite plus
Please Note: Due to the nature of retail, weekend, public holiday, and extended festive season hours are required.

Applicants without a valid driver's license and prior retail experience will not be considered.

Salary: Based on experience.
