Job Description
A Shop Assistant's duties encompass customer service, inventory management, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. This includes assisting customers, stocking shelves, processing payments, and addressing customer inquiries or complaints.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
Greet customers, assist with product inquiries, and provide recommendations.Inventory Management:
Restock shelves, arrange merchandise, receive and process shipments, and maintain stock levels.Sales Transactions:
Process payments, handle returns, and manage refunds.Store Maintenance:
Keep the sales floor clean and organized, and ensure proper display and presentation of products.General Support:
Answer customer inquiries, handle customer complaints, and assist with other tasks as needed.Additional Responsibilities:
Cash Handling:
Operate cash registers, handle cash, and process payments accurately.Visual Merchandising:
Ensure products are properly displayed and labeled, and that the store environment is visually appealing.Training:
Participate in training sessions and learn about new products and promotions.Collaboration:
Work with other team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment.Administrative Tasks:
Maintain accurate records of sales, customer interactions, and inventory.Job Type: Full-time
Pay: R4000,00 - R4500,00 per month
